Playing in XPDC 3.01, a pauper tournament on Magic the Gathering Online. #
finished in 3rd/4th in the XPDC tournament. I played a deck I was really comfortable with, but got blown out something serious in the semis #
back from lunch and stuff with @magickalrealism. Set the move-in date for the new apartment: 3 weeks from today. Gearing up for SPDC. #
Back from a photo shoot with @magickalrealism. It’s fun sometimes to go out and take a “roll” of pictures with her. #

Doing laundry at Suds America. One thing that I will miss is doing all the laundry in one shot here. It’s a nice place to get stuff done. #
@pfhyper Pilot and Episode 1 are pretty good, but the season starts going downhill from thereIMHO. Still, Aaron Sorkin is better than most. #

At work for day 2 of 2 this week. I like having a short week, and actually know what I need to do and am happy to do it today. Strange. #
Still baffled as to why MS decided that ‘LPCTSTR’ is more understandable than ‘const char *’ #
Heading to fetch some caffeine so that I can get through the rest of the work day without my stomach growling. #
Scheduled the movers for the moving day, left message for the manager of new apartment. I’m excited to get moved into the new place. #
Drooling over the possibility of getting a new phone, not so wild about the idea of another 2 year contract #

Mad at myself for having a laptop that is broken in many different ways. Finally got the touchpad working marginally okay, wireless next. #
got gTwitter, wireless, sound working on the laptop, also right and middle click. now I can finally start getting some work done. #
Gnome Do is nice, but I blasted away my keys when I decided to use them for right and middle click. #

suddenly my laptop has decided that my touchpad isn’t a synaptics touchpad and reverted to PS/2 mode. This is annoying, I hate tap-to-click #
Trying to decide where I draw the line on blocking users who are obviously just following everyone. I block obv. spammers now. #
@thehodge Is this expected, welcomed, or something to be complained about? #
@RobertFischer I’ve been thinking about attending more UGs lately. Ruby.MN sounds like one that might be cool. Is it mostly casual? #
@jojeda Kung Fu Panda is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen come out of Dreamworks Animation. Way better than their usual Shrek 5:bleh. #
office is obviously still set for full capacity on it’s HVAC system. It’s freezing in here because there is a much lower population. #

refactoring code from a MFC application into a library. Hoping to make it more DRY. #
holy crap. consumers complained to netflix about losing profiles.. and netflix gave in - they’re keeping profiles around. #
heading home. will be back tomorrow at work so there’s not really a rush I think. #

Working on the same code that I was working on yesterday. Fixing bugs! Hopefully today I will be able to move on. #
taking a short break from debugging to read some feeds in cullect. excited for another release of cullect coming soon? #
I’m pretty sure that Trolltech has made it impossible to find out how much a QT/commercial license costs without emailing them. Annoying. #
testing my newly-debugged code against all the test cases. Hoping I am done with this “stable” branch debugging. #

listening to MTGcast 109 and debugging code again today #
so very tired of this code not working the exact same way as MATLAB. I suspect numerical errors. 0.1% of cases fail, so I spend 8 hours. #
surprisingly actually finding bugs which should have been fixed before, and implementing hackish workarounds to unfixable bugs. #
Got a call from the new apartment place, apparently the old tenant is moving out early, we could get in before our lease starts! #
just about right on time, my test case now runs correctly. huzzah! #
